As time goes on, we forget the most familiar memories and things.
Childhood memories are like the strawberry that I forgot in my pocket when I was a child,
one I was reluctant to eat and which I forgot even existed.

Play and playfulness are vehicles through which we as children learn to understand the world around us and navigate our place in it. In Hand in Hand, aspects of the installation environment and other participants can trigger certain feelings and emotions, perhaps a memory from childhood of love or happiness.
By referencing my childhood memories of playing, the installations aim to offer a resting place or playroom for adult to heal and to escape from the reality. Through exploring ‘play’ in a ‘playful’ manner, this installation is user friendly and invites people to interact with the objects naturally. My attempts to bring the audiences as intimately as I can into contact with the recent moment. Removing them from the everyday world and providing an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with newly created experiences, visions and narratives of the built world of their own.
